2014-2015 Refit (Italy)

"Caravelle is a 1965  78”(23.95m) Classic steel  Motor Yacht  built by shipyard “De Vlijt” which is now the famed Royal  De Vries shipyard in Aalsmeer, in the Netherlands, part of Feadship. Caravelle's designer was Carlo Riva  and  her naval architect  was  H.W. De Voogt. Only 7 of the Riva Caravelle Feadship serie were built between  August  1961  and  October 1965  and  they have  gained status amongst connoisseurs. Caravelle has been blessed with owners who have been willing to invest substantially in her too make sure that she kept her original looks and elegance and at the same time has lot’s of new technology installed to make navigation and sailing her a safe and comfortable pleasure for the Owners and Guests as well as operationally efficient for the crew.  She underwent a substantial refit in 2014-2015 when the then Italian Owner decided to lengthen her with 150cm to make the main deck lounge a more usable space and to add an elegant beachclub with its folding hydraulic platform. The interior was redone in the original style and philosophy of the 60’s by Italian architect Matteo Picchio.
